Squadeasy is not just another running app. Squadeasy is a fun and sporty team experience available on AppStore and Google Play

Squadeasy records your physical activity (walking, running, cycling), with or without the use of a third-party app, and turns it into points which will help your team climb higher in the ranking.

There are regular missions and quizzes to add fun to the experience and help you and your teammates earn even more points, always in a good spirit. Ready? :-)

Squadeasy promotes physical activity, team spirit and well-being in general. Your reward: doing good for your body and mind, as well as sharing a unique and inspiring experience with your colleagues.

Incidentally, your company may decide to set up incentives, both individual and collective, for the benefit of a charity or an environmental project, for example.

Don't you have the right phone?
Depending on the application or connected object that you use elsewhere, you have the option of synchronizing your activities from a third-party application. To do this, open the app's "Settings" page and click on "Connect a sports application".

Of course! We are very careful to protect your data and we only use it for the experience you are participating in.

Teams are ranked according to the points they have earned.

The goal is simple : earn as many points as possible! The team's points are the sum of each team member's points. The team's ranking process can be followed in real time in the application.

For seasonal challenges (which last over several months), the teams get medals according to their position, at the end of each month. At the beginning of the following month, the points are reset to 0, and you have an opportunity to win a new medal !

A boost is a magical power which gives a teammate a 10% bonus on the points they earn that day.

Whether or not you do a physical activity yourself, you can boost your colleagues! A single user can accumulate up to 3 boosts, giving them a 30% bonus. So you can really rack up the points. It's up to you to be as strategic as possible! But be careful, each participant can only send one boost each day!

To boost a teammate, it's very simple! Go to the "Team" page then click on "Boost" for the teammate you want to boost. You can also directly boost the teammate you want by going on their profile from the same page.

Important: if you boost a teammate, this boost will only be valid for 24 hours. Similarly, if you get a boost from a teammate, it will also count for 24 hours. Consult with your team to place your boosts in the best way ;)

Missions pop frequently to challenge you to surpass yourself and get bonus points.

For example, you may be offered to complete a certain number of steps or distance in a limited time. These bonus points are an additional motivation to move and climb the rankings!

To participate, nothing could be easier, you don't have to do anything... Or almost! You can consult the available missions in the Superactive Mode available on the homepage.

All the missions in progress will be available below each activity.

Squadeasy, it's not just physical activity!
You will regularly be asked to answer questions on different topics (sport, health/nutrition, etc.).

If the answer is correct, you will receive bonus points. If you have any doubts about the answer, don't hesitate to exchange with your team members via the application's chat room ;)

You have to go to the bottom of the “Home” page, then click on the quiz to answer it.
The question and the suggested answers will then appear on the screen.

Whether your answer is right or not, there will always be a little explanatory text to give you more details and, we hope, teach you new things!

If cheating is a sport, it is one that is not accepted on Squadeasy ;)

This challenge must be carried out in a fair-play and good mood. We count on you and your teammates to preserve this spirit!

As in any game, cheating is of course possible. We detect suspicious activities (analysis of speed, cadence, etc.) and can proceed with point adjustments. If necessary, we come back to the participant to ask for more details. If a cheater is identified, points will be taken away from him/her and he/she may be excluded from the challenge in case of a repeat offence.

Whatever your phone, make sure to enable access to motion and GPS for the Squadeasy app when you start the app or in your phone settings, otherwise no activity will be recorded.

Start an activity directly from the home page of the application. Just click on "Superactive Mode" and then "Run" or "Pedal".

Once the GPS is synchronized, click on "Start". To finish the activity, press "Finish". A summary of the performance appears.

The points scored after a ride are added to your personal counter, as well as to the team's. Step counting is automatic.

It syncs with your Google Fit application (for Android) and Apple Health (for iOS) for more accurate tracking.

You can also use Garmin, Fitbit or Strava to sync your activities. (See below for more explanations)

Each application has its own algorithm to record the number of steps taken daily. No method is 100% reliable and it is possible that you may notice a difference between your application and Squadeasy. Nothing serious, it's still a game ;-)

However, if the difference is too important (more than 30%), don't hesitate to write to boogie@squadeasy.com so that he can correct it.

You left home on a walk this morning, and when you check the number of steps you've taken when you get to the office, you find that the counter is stuck at 0? Check that you have downloaded the latest version of the application on your phone and, if you are on Android, that you have downloaded Google Fit - in this case, check if steps are recorded on this application. Finally, we invite you to check that you have accepted, in the settings of the application, access to the movements of your phone. If the problem persists, try to restart your phone. As a last resort, do not hesitate to write to boogie@squadeasy.com

Steps taken during a running session can be counted and generate extra points for you and your team!

To date, the easiest way to count steps in addition to a running activity is to go running with your smartphone :-)

To sync your activities from an application other than Health, Google Fit or Strava, you need to sync your activities with one of these third-party apps and then sync to Squadeasy. Other third-party apps will gradually arrive on Squadeasy.

Each application has its own algorithm and a recalculation is made from one application to another, which explains the differences you may notice. Remember that no calculation is 100% reliable! However, if the difference is too important (more than 30%), don't hesitate to write to boogie@squadeasy.com so that it can be corrected.

You used Squadeasy and you noticed an error in the distance, time or GPS track? This is probably due to a loss of GPS signal during your race or to a wrong manipulation.

It can happen that the points are not counted right away at the end of a trip. This is usually due to a weak network when you registered your trip. If after several attempts to synchronize, the points are still not attributed to you, try restarting your Squadeasy application.

We are well aware that activities performed in the gym or at home are just as physical as outdoor efforts. Unfortunately, we don't count this type of activities at the moment. Maybe soon ;-)

It is currently not possible to connect a GPS watch directly to Squadeasy. But we are working on it! However, you can always connect your watch to a third party application (Strava for example) and transfer your data to Squadeasy through it. For your steps counted via your Garmin watch, Boogie recommends you to sync Garmin to your health app (Google fit or Health) and then sync between it and Squadeasy.

The social wall is a very effective way to brag about your sports outings! You can share messages, photos, react to other participants' posts and even earn points!

To access it, you just have to click on the "Social" button at the bottom of your screen.

The missions "Theme photos" allow you to earn points by posting a photo on the social wall. To do so, when a mission is available, you just have to click on "Earn points", choose the hashtag of the current mission and post your picture. There you go, you just won points!

If you want to change your team, it's possible: open your profile from the home page of the application, then click on "option" → "leave the team" → validate your choice and then create or join a new team

If you don't want to be captain of your team anymore, go to the "team" page from the bottom menu of the homepage, click on "option" and then "change captain". You can then give the armband to whoever you want.

When you change squads, the points you've earned so far this season stay with the team you were on.

Squadeasy has an instant messaging service (chat) that offers the possibility of exchanging with your teammates in private or as a team in order to congratulate, encourage or organize the next race in group.

Squadeasy is available in miles or kilometers. To change the unit of measurement, just go to the preferences and select the desired unit.

The Squadeasy app is available in French and Canadian French (oui, oui!), English (yes yes!), Spanish (¡ Si! ¡ Si!), Italian (ovviamente!), German (ja ja!), Portuguese (Sim Sim!), Japanese (はい), Simplified Chinese (是的), and Russian (да). To change the language, you just have to go to the preferences and select the language you want.

The registration page is available in English and French.

If you have changed your phone, don't panic, your points are kept! Just download the Squadeasy application again and log in with the login and password you chose when you signed up.
